From My Shelf Bookstore has invited several prominent local authorities to attend their Civil War event. Michael Horigan, author of "Elmira: Death Camp of the North," will discuss the northern prison at Elmira, NY. Robert Yott, who writes of the Bath Soldier's Home history, will be coming in period dress. Also, Bill Robertson will portray a Bucktail private and discuss his seven-novel series about the famous Civil War sharpshooters from Pennsylvania. Finally, Roger Rose, archaeologist of the Coates Heritage House Museum, will be bringing some Civil War artifacts to display. There will be a live remote broadcast with radio station KC 101.
